No. The propane smokeless fire pit produces no ash and no stray sparks like a wood fire. It is still a real flame, so follow all proper safety precautions and the product manual.

How long does a propane tank last?

The propane fire pit runs for approximately 5.5+ hours on the Dual-High setting on a full tank.  On the Outer setting, the runtime is approximately 9.5+ hours. Runtime will vary depending based on setting and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.

Infinity Flame should only be used with a standard 20 lb propane tank. Store it in the hidden compartment and secure it according to the instructions.

Yes. However, strong winds may reduce flame height or temporarily push flames away from the ports. If strong winds blow out the flame, turn off the propane tank valve, wait five minutes for gas to dissipate, then retry.

Infinity Flame should not be used in the rain or snow in order to keep the burner and stainless steel propane fire pit surface dry.

Can I use my Infinity Flame during cold winter nights?

You can use your fire pit during the winter, however, please remember that propane pressure drops in cold temperatures and that you might see a lower flame output in sub-freezing weather. We recommend keeping your propane tank off frozen ground and using a tank blanket.  When choosing a tank blanket, use one that does not cover the foot ring of the tank, as it will interfere with securing your tank to the Bottom Tray.

Is the exterior hot during use?

The surrounding tabletop stays cool to the touch and can hold glasses, games, and more. The design helps protect wandering hands and wagging tails, but children and pets should always be supervised around any open flame. The burner flame ring and internal burners do get hot and should not be touched.

Can I roast marshmallows or cook on it?

We love s’mores and, while propane is food safe, we do not recommend cooking over the Infinity Flame fire pit since food residue can clog the burners and be difficult to clean.

Igniter clicks but no flame — now what?

Confirm the propane tank valve is open  and that the tank is not empty , ensure the control knob is depressed during ignition, and try again after five minutes , allowing gas to dissipate . See the manual for additional troubleshooting details.
