General
Solo Stove is a smokeless fire pit brand built around patented 360° Signature Airflow™ and secondary burn engineering that re-burns smoke before it leaves the fire. The result is a hotter, cleaner, and more mesmerizing flame with less fuss, less tending, and dramatically less visible smoke than traditional backyard fire pits.
“Smokeless” means engineered to significantly reduce visible smoke under normal use, not zero smoke in all conditions. When seasoned hardwood fuel and proper airflow are present, Solo Stove’s double-wall design activates secondary combustion that cuts smoke and odor to a fraction of a conventional pit.
Yes—Solo Stove offers wood-burning smokeless fire pits (Ranger, Bonfire, Summit, Yukon, Canyon) and a new propane fire pit experience with Infinity Flame. Choose classic wood for a campfire feel or propane for turn-of-a-dial convenience while still getting the iconic Solo Stove Signature Flame™.
A Solo Stove smokeless fire pit concentrates heat and throws warmth outward thanks to efficient, high-temperature combustion. Many customers find Solo Stove delivers a more immersive “fireside” heat zone than low-flame decorative gas tables designed primarily for ambiance.

We’ve transitioned to offering the fire pit exclusively as a Fire Pit + Stand set to provide the safest and most secure experience possible.
Through customer feedback and product evaluation, we found that using the fire pit with the stand significantly improves overall stability during setup and use. The stand helps ensure proper support, reduces risk, and creates a more reliable experience.
For this reason, the fire pit is no longer available for purchase on its own. The Fire Pit + Stand bundle ensures you receive the complete, optimized setup designed for safety and performance.
Exercise extreme caution when using Solo Stove fire pits on or around combustible surfaces. Use on wood or composite decking is at your own risk and can lead to charring or ignition if not adequately elevated, insulated, or misused. Even when using Solo Stove Stand, wood and composite decking materials differ significantly in quality and have varying heat resistance ratings. Check with your manufacturer or builder to ensure your surface can handle high temperatures, or further elevate or insulate your fire pit to avoid potential damage.
If you plan on using the fire pit on a deck made of composite materials (e.g., Trex, Azek, Fiberon, Timbertech, etc.), there is a manufacturer fire resistance rating from A to C. Check with your manufacturer or builder for what grade decking you have beforehand. To be safe, using a stand is required at all times when burning on composite and PVC decking.
You can find more information on the Stand and the surfaces it can be placed on here. We also offer a spark arresting shield for extra protection against popping embers that might find their way in places they don’t belong.
Using the fire pit with the Stand lifts the fire pit 2.75" off the ground and the Stand minimizes heat transfer to the surface below.
If the fire pit has been left for an extended amount of time with the grass not being exposed to sunlight, it will cause the grass to die/discolor in that area. We recommend using a Stand when placing your fire pit on grass to provide enough space around the fire pit’s lower vent holes and to protect the health of your lawn.
If your grass is tall and/or thick, it is possible your grass will still die even if using the Stand with your Solo Stove.
Summit
Summit takes everything you love about Bonfire and Yukon and makes it even easier to enjoy. It comes with a built-in stand, so there’s no extra setup required, and with the gel fuel, it reaches smokeless flames faster for a quicker, cleaner burn. Summit’s low-profile walls also give you 25% more flame visibility, creating an even more immersive fireside experience.
The main difference is the ignition system and size.
- Summit 19.5™ features the Quick-Strike Base Plate™, which spreads fire starter across channels in the base to help ignite smaller log stacks quickly—ideal for a more compact fire pit.
Summit 24™ and Summit 27™ use the Quick-Strike Cone™, which funnels flame upward through the center of the fire to ignite larger log stacks faster and support bigger fires.
The Summit 19.5 is compatible with the following accessories:
- Heat Deflector
- Heat Deflector Carry Bag
- Small Surround
- Small Surround Shelter
- Small Surround Surface
- Small Surround Extend
- Shelter
- Lid
- Shield
- Pellet Adapter
The Summit 24 is compatible with the following accessories:
- Heat Deflector
- Heat Deflector Carry Bag
- Medium Surround
- Small Surround Shelter
- Small Surround Extend
- Shelter
- Lid
- Shield
- Pellet Adapter
The Summit 27 is compatible with the following accessories:
- Heat Deflector
- Heat Deflector Carry Bag
- Large Surround
- Large Surround Shelter
- Large Surround Surface
- Large Surround Extend
- Shelter
- Lid
- Shield
- Pellet Adapter
Please note: The Surround Lite is NOT compatible with the Summit.
- Summit 19.5™ is designed for fast, reliable starts. Stack small, dry split wood so the center remains open, then use Solo Stove Fire Starter Gel™ with the Quick-Strike Base Plate™ for consistent, hassle-free ignition. A small amount of startup smoke is normal and clears quickly.
- For Summit 24™ and 27™, simply pour it onto the cone, place your wood around it, and light. It will ignite quickly with no smoke and reach secondary burn much faster. With the Summit, this is an excellent way to get your fire going, but you can also use it just like the 2.0 models without gel fuel. In that case, your fire pit will take a bit more time to reach secondary burn, but you’ll enjoy a completely wood-fueled fire. Having the Summit gives you both options!
Steelfire Griddle
- The Steelfire™ 30" Griddle operates exclusively with a 20-lb liquid propane tank equipped with a QCC-1 connection. The regulator and hose come pre-attached.
- The Steelfire 22™ runs on standard 1 lb. disposable propane tanks and includes a regulator for quick setup. It can also connect to a 20 lb. propane tank using a compatible conversion kit for longer cooking sessions.
- The Steelfire 22™ delivers 14,000-BTUs through a single Racetrack Burner across 321.7 square inches of cooking surface, enough room for about 10 burgers. Weighing 38.7 lbs, it is built for portability, smaller spaces, and tabletop cooking.
The Steelfire™ 30 increases output to 24,000 BTUs with a Dual Racetrack Burner system and 486.47 square inches of cooking surface, accommodating about 16 burgers. At 59 lbs, it offers expanded capacity and can be bundled with the Steelfire Stand for a high-performance setup suited for everything from weekend brunch to crowd-ready dinners.
At the heart of Steelfire 22™ is a patent-pending single Racetrack Burner designed for precision and consistency. Its unique shape distributes heat evenly across the cooktop, reducing hot spots and dead zones, so food cooks evenly from edge to edge.
The Steelfire™ Griddle reaches temperatures from 300°F to 800°F, making it a versatile outdoor propane griddle for everything from pancakes to seared steaks. For best results, cook between 350°F and 450°F, and use 500°F+ for high-heat searing.
Windchill
- Choose Windchill 30™ if portability is your priority. Its lighter, more compact design is easier to lift, load, and roll, making it ideal for sidelines, campsites, tailgates, and backyard gatherings where mobility matters.
Choose Windchill47™ if you want maximum capacity and longer cooling runtimes. With more room for ice and extended performance, it is built for bigger groups, longer events, and full-day outdoor entertaining.
Unlike traditional coolers, Windchill™ is an integrated cooling system that gives you three ways to chill:
- Cold storage for long-lasting ice
Active air conditioning for real outdoor cooling
Misting for added comfort in hot, dry conditions
It also includes USB charging ports, all-terrain wheels, and a telescoping handle, so it cools your drinks and the people around it.
A portable air cooler provides cooling outdoors using airflow and water. Windchill goes further by using a heat exchanger to actively cool and dehumidify air, delivering a drier, colder breeze than a fan or traditional swamp cooler.
Yes. Windchill cools and dehumidifies air using a heat exchanger, delivering a crisp, dry breeze far more effective than a swamp cooler or regular fan. Windchill can cool air up to 35° below ambient.
Infinity Flame Propane Fire Pit
Designed for effortless relaxation and worry-free enjoyment, Infinity Flame delivers instant ignition, precision heat control, and low-maintenance convenience with the turn of a dial. It’s the Solo Stove Signature Flame™, reimagined for families and friends who crave connection around the fire, but need a clean, easy alternative to wood—whether due to burn bans or lifestyle.
The propane fire pit runs for approximately 5.5+ hours on the Dual-High setting on a full tank. On the Outer setting, the runtime is approximately 9.5+ hours. Runtime will vary depending based on setting and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
Yes. Use the external control knob to adjust flame height and heat output for your preferred outdoor propane firepit experience
No. The propane smokeless fire pit does not produce any ash or stray sparks like a wood fire. It is still a real flame, so follow all proper safety precautions and the product manual.
Pizza Ovens
We offer the original Pi Dual Fuel Pizza Oven and the Pi Prime Pizza Oven. Both are designed to meet a pizza lover’s needs, but each option has some variations. If you'd like to use wood as your fuel source, you can use the Pi Dual Fuel Pizza Oven. This is also a great option if you'd like to add on the Gas Burner attachment (sold separately), allowing you the versatility of cooking with propane if preferred.
If you're only interested in cooking with gas, the Pi Prime Pizza Oven makes homemade pizza prep much more approachable. It comes at a lower price point and is user-friendly thanks to its gas-only design.
Weighing in at just over 30 lbs., Pi Prime can be taken wherever your cravings take you. Including, but not limited to, spicing up your neighbor’s dinner party, crafting artisan pies at your team’s tailgate, or elevating a weekend picnic.
Pi Prime operates exclusively on Propane Gas (LPG).
Pi Prime will reach temperatures in excess of 950°F.
Each type of pizza crust is unique and the temperature should be adjusted accordingly. As a baseline, Neapolitan Pizza is typically cooked around 750° - 800°F. Depending on the thickness of your crust and the amount of toppings you use, you might want to cook at a higher or lower temperature. The thicker the crust, the longer the pizza will need to cook, which means that lower temperatures will be more forgiving.

Mesa
Thoughtfully designed with new seasonal colors, Mesa is an interactive centerpiece that enhances your space’s aesthetic. Between the warmth of a fire, a golden marshmallow, and eye-catching hues, your senses will be delighted every time you light up.
Made with high-heat ceramic coating, Mesa’s color will stay vibrant and resist patina for years to come.
Starting a fire in your Mesa is similar to how you would start a fire in the Camp Stoves. Due to Mesa’s ability to work with pellets and chunk wood, there are two different methods for lighting the Mesa:
Using chunk wood:
Start with small bits of wood and some fire starters. Once you have that lit, add wood slowly to build up the flame. Do not use accelerants like lighter fluid.
Using pellets:
Add pellets until they’re resting under the secondary burn holes. If you’re using a traditional firestarter, place it in the middle of your Mesa on top of the pellets. Using a stick lighter, light your starter. When refueling Mesa, add pellets slowly to ensure your flame doesn’t become suffocated.
Mesa offers many fuel options so your night out in your backyard will be one for the books! Our Mini Oak Firewood is the perfect size, kiln dried, and will last for hours!
Have you been wanting to use pellets with your Solo products? We finally have the product just for you! Mesa is our first fire pit that can use pellets with the help of the pellet adapter! Our Premium Wood Fuel Pellets will produce that nice, cozy fire!
You can also use our very own Alcohol Burners that are originally used for our Camp Stoves!
We do not recommend using any accelerants, or charcoal with your Mesa.
When adding pellets to your Mesa, be sure to add amounts that won’t smother the fire (typically around ¼ cup). If too many pellets are added at once, this could cause the fire to cool drastically which will cause it to smoke.
Tower Patio Heater
The New Tower uses upgraded 304 stainless steel and cold-rolled steel for enhanced durability, better resistance to rust, and protection against deformation. The design includes reinforced structural components, a redesigned hopper for improved pellet feeding and heat efficiency, an ash grate for consistent burns, and a more ergonomic handle and improved door alignment. The redesigned gravity-fed hopper holds up to 25 pounds of pellets and offers two heat settings for optimized performance.
No, the Tower is designed to be smokeless, utilizing advanced airflow and efficient combustion technology to minimize smoke and provide a clean heating experience.
The Tower exclusively uses wood pellets, which are known for clean and efficient combustion.
No, the new Tower operates independently of electricity. Heat is produced solely by burning wood pellets, making it an eco-friendly option.
Camp Stove
Our camp stoves light quickly and burn efficiently to provide you with the best trailside cooking experience. Most radiating heat will travel straight up through your cooking ring toward your pot, pan, or percolator.
Only the high proof of Denatured Alcohol (Methanol) or Ethanol will provide the quick and clean flame in your alcohol burner that’ll make your meal sizzle.
Your cooking ring will prop up and support your favorite cookware when you’re travel-worn and craving a hot meal. Set aside your cooking ring for any time you’re hungry for the flickering flame that keeps your campsite safe and warm. You won’t be able to achieve the secondary burn without the ring.
The windscreen is compatible with the Lite and Titan camp stoves!
Colored Fire Pits
re pits in this color series will not have a visible patina where the ceramic coating has been applied. However, the flame ring and inner walls are not ceramic-coated and will achieve the signature patina look over time.
The Ranger is the most portable fire pit of our three larger fire pit sizes. We've learned from our previous colored fire pits, the Elemental Series, that ceramic and portability do not mix. Our Colored Fire Pit series is intended for a stunning backyard aesthetic, whilst the Ranger is intended to be taken along for on a trip and transported from location to location.
You sure can! You can check out organizations you can donate your 1.0 to here!
Note: Shipping costs will not be covered by Solo Stove, only the box and protective packaging will be provided.
It is not. Although the coating is sturdier and can handle high heats from your fire, it can scratch. We do not recommend having anything abrasive come in contact with the Colored Fire Pits.
Mesa Torches
Each torch comes with a step-by-step assembly guide. The process is simple and designed to be user-friendly and goes together in a few quick steps. Should you encounter any issues, our customer service team is always available to assist you.
Yes, our torches are constructed with safety in mind. However, like any open flame, they should be used with caution. Always keep children and pets at a safe distance, and never leave the Mesa Torch unattended while lit.
No, it is not. Because of the type of fuel used, the Mesa Torch will have a small amount of smoke particularly when first lighting, and can leave a soot residue on the metal components while burning.
After assembly and placing your torch in the desired location, fill the canister with Solo Stove Torch Fuel, insert the wick into the canister cap, leaving approximately ½” to ¾” exposed, and screw the cap lightly into place. Let the wick soak for approximately 15-30 minutes, then light it with a long-stem lighter.
Concrete Fire Bowls
All of our Fire and S'mores Bowls include a complimentary gel fuel canister. The canister contains isopropyl alcohol, which is a flammable liquid and falls under Class 3 of hazardous materials. While we love to ship our products as soon as possible for you to enjoy, dangerous goods like these require cautious handling and must be shipped via Ground transportation.
Our gel fuel cans are perfect for your standard size Mesa! As for the Mesa XL, the gel fuel will sit very low in the pit and will not be stable, which can lead to a messy and smoky experience.
Fire Bowls are designed locally in Southern California and manufactured in our factory in Mexico.
The bowl may be left outdoors. However, concrete is a porous material and will have natural expansion and contraction. For longevity of your fire bowl we recommend trying to avoid exposing the bowl to extreme temperatures and moisture by bringing it indoors if rain or snow is expected in the colder months.
Fuel
Wood is kiln-dried to get a 20% moisture content or lower. When it’s too damp, it burns less, fizzles out quicker, and emits a pesky and smoky flame.
Our kiln drying process involves heat-treating the wood at 175-degrees for 75 minutes to get your Cooking Wood to that 20% or less moisture goal. Drier wood means quicker ignition and a longer, brighter burn.
Mini Oak Firewood comes in varying sizes but will always fit in Pi's fuel grate, your Solo Stove Fire Pit Cooking System, and your Camp Stove.
Mini Oak Firewood should be stored in a cool, dry place where it will not be exposed to moisture.
While the timing of the burn varies with each experience, Mini Oak Firewood is oak and kiln-dried, so you’ll get a long-lasting burn that needs a minor amount of tending to during your pizza night.
Fire Pit Accessories
You can expect approximately 2 hours of burn time from a fire pit full of pellets. Depending on the type of pellets you use, this time can be extended or decreased slightly. Hardwood pellets will burn for slightly longer, while softwood pellets will burn more quickly.
Be sure that your fire pit is completely cooled before leaving it unattended. After the flames die down, the fire pit will still be hot to the touch.

No, you don’t!
Pellets provide an even and consistent burn, meaning you can achieve a smokeless, secondary flame with only a few inches of pellets in your pit.
The duration of your fire will depend on the amount of pellets you put into your fire pit. If you fill your pit to the top (about 1" below the secondary burn holes), you will have flames for 2+ hours. If you want to have a shorter fire, simply add fewer pellets. ½ the number of pellets will burn for approximately half the time.
Cookout Kit FAQs
With the Cookout Kit adapter attached to your Bonfire, you can use charcoal for all your cooking needs—no wood required! While you can use wood alongside charcoal, it's not recommended, as it doesn't enhance your cooking experience.
The Cookout Kit is compatible with a wide range of accessories, including ones that rest on top of the fire pit, such as the Shield, Lid and Pi Fire.
At this time, the Cookout Kit is only available for Bonfire, however, we are always open to feedback from our amazing Solo Stove community, to consider making it available for alternate sized fire pits!
There is a bag that is under development, however, at this time there is not a cover for the Cookout Kit.
