What Stove does this pot set work with?

This is the companion pot for the Solo Stove Campfire. The Solo Stove Campfire can actually nest inside this pot set for compact storage.

Do both pots come with lids?

Yes. Both pots have lids that have steam vent holes and a silicone pull tab that can lock in the upright position.

Is stainless steel better than aluminum?

We think so! With concerns that aluminum pots might not be the healthiest option to cook with, we feel that food grade stainless steel is the way to go.

Does this pot set come with a stuff sack?

Yep! The stuff sack is a great way to keep your pot protected and the rest of your pack clean.

  1. Good quality, good performance 4 Star Review

For the overall material it's good quality and construction. I don't like how the small wire hanger/handle will pop out rather easily from the mounts. I was able to get to a rolling boil in about 10 minutes with the pots filled with 40oz and 60ozs respectively using tap water on the Titan stove. Yes, they are a bit oversized for the stove I used but I haven't received the Campfire yet.

  2. Campfire stove and 2 pots 5 Star Review

Have now outfitted 3 of our sons with the campfire stove and pots. One more to go! They love the quality of the pots, the details like the rubber tipped top and vented lid and dual handles. All well thought out extras the boys noticed. They are family campers, and they love the versatility of the fuel needed for the solo stove for emergency prep.
I also would like to comment about my personal experience with customer service. It is THE Best! From filling a forgotten exchange from 2 years ago to expediting a Christmas order this year, I have never had such cooperation and feeling like a company cared about me and my purchases. Thank you Solo Stove!

  3. A step (or two) above the rest! 5 Star Review

Very thoughtful design. Functional beyond just containing food over fire. Stay right bale and lid tab are the way it should be on any camp cookware. The handles can be held bare handed while cooking (as long as they aren't above direct flame (duh)).
I can't wait to see what they come out with next. I'll be a customer.

  4. Two Pot Set 5 Star Review

Works great. Just used both pots along with our Campfire Stove to make Mac and cheese, coffee (the big pot pours water perfectly which was a big concern, since it doesn't have a pour spout, though it looks like it does), and when you have correct coals, we made scrambled eggs (liberal quantity of butter on bottom of smaller pan, and don't start too hot). Make sure to use bar soap ANYWHERE the flame will travel, as soot is extremely sticky and tough to clean. I'm going to find out if Dawn liquid can be brushed on as well.
    Well made.

  5. Four Stars 4 Star Review

I enjoy these pots as they are stack-able...but they are also great as storage space in your pack

  6. if i could give this 4 and a half i would 4 Star Review

if i could give this 4 and a half i would i l love feel of them nice and thick ,i like the Measuring Guide on the side nice and big the handles are sturdy ,and the pot is nice and big the pan is just the size you need to fry the bacon and eggs in ,all in all a well made well put together pan set.

but if there is a down side it is the fact that if you try to steam cook with them it is real top heavy , and the only other thing that would be nice is a way to strap the lids to the pots so thay are not free to move around in the bag.

but as a pot set for the camp fire 4.5 well made and very sturdy

  7. Great Companion to the Solo Stove Campfire 4 Star Review

These 2 pots are ideal for cooking with the Solo Stove Campfire stove. Don't worry, you will not only be limited to using these two pots. The Campfire works well with other pans/pots as well. Good sturdy construction as always. Handles are nice and collapse around the pots. The big pot has a hanger so it can be used with the Solo Stove Tripod as well. Easy to clean up after using. Measurement gradients are stamped on the inside of the pots and easily read. These pots do store inside one another and inside the Solo Stove Campfire. The only down fall was it took me a while to figure out how they all fit together after using it the first time. However, it is no problem and stores away nicely. A must have if you have or are going to get the Solo Stove Campfire.

  8. An excellent combination with the Solo Stove Campfire 4 Star Review

An excellent combination with the Solo Stove Campfire. I would highly recommend this product. The reason I deduct a star is because they do not stack in an ideal manner and do not lock into place. Rattling while driving/hiking is not ideal. That being said, these are bombproof pots and can be used to boil and cooks different sorts of foods.

  9. ... am picky when it comes to pot sets I like a big pot and I like a frying pan 4 Star Review

I am picky when it comes to pot sets I like a big pot and I like a frying pan. This is more of a big pot and wide shallow sauce pan with the edges being slightly to high for flipping eggs and the bottom of the pots not being flat. With that said this pot set is pretty nice. Both pots take the same size lid should you somehow misplace one (the set comes with 2). The larger pot comes with both folding handles and the wire for hanging from a tripod the handles are sturdy and in my experience do not get hot enough to require a rage to pick it up . The solo stove lids are nice in that they have a silicone covered folding handle so that you don't need to have an oven mit or rag to take the lid off. The lid also comes with vents to release some of the steam that builds up. Match it up with the Solo Stove Campfire and you have something that is really awesome for large groups.

  10. Solid 4.5 star cook set 4 Star Review

We use this set as to compliment the Solo Stove Campfire, and it is the ideal combination for cooking for larger groups. Although my wife will never admit it, my eyes are not as good as they used to be, and it is refreshing to see gradations stamped on the inside and outside that are large enough to be seen even in low light. The cook set stacks perfectly into the Campfire stove and makes for a great sized, easily packed cook set. As I have come to expect and rely on, this item is durable and feels like it is made for the long haul.

The only thing that keeps this set from being a true 5 star product is that the adventurous camp cook cannot really stack these for steaming/cooking purposes short of engaging in the perfect balancing act. If the bottom of the smaller unit was fluted, or a lip built into the top of the larger unit, you would have to look long and hard to find something to complain about in this set.
