Solo Stove Privacy Policy

Thank you for doing business with Solo Brands, LLC dba Solo Stove (“Solo Stove,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We hope you find our website, products, and our other services (collectively, the “Services”) helpful and useful. We have adopted this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to help our current and potential customers, clients, vendors, our employees, and other business partners (“you” or “your,”) understand what information we collect, store, share, and use, how, and why we do so, and what your rights are regarding that information.

This Privacy Policy applies to everybody who interacts with us online or otherwise. Since different portions of the Privacy Policy will apply differently to the various groups who interact with us, we have tried to clearly categorize the types of information we process and how we do so. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please e-mail us at [email protected]

We always seek to improve our Services to you, and that requires that we collect, store, share, and use information about you and your usage preferences. As we do so, we are absolutely committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal information.

In this Privacy Policy, we use the word “personal information” to describe all the information we collect that may identify, relate to, describe, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you and your use of our Services. We may refer to the different categories separately, but when we use the word “personal information,” we mean all the different categories described in this Privacy Policy. The term “personal information” does not apply to de-identified and aggregated data that may be derived from personal information, such as traffic patterns, search activity, and other information that cannot be reasonably connected with any individual (“De-identified Data”). We may use De-identified Data for our own purposes in any manner and without attribution or compensation to any person.

By accessing or using any of the Services or by otherwise interacting with us online, you consent to our use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect personal information from you in the variety of ways listed above for lawful reasons, primarily to provide you with information related to our products and fulfill our obligations to you upon purchase. For example, we may use your personal information to:

We do not sell your personal information. Except as provided below, we do not share or disclose your personal information. We may disclose your personal information in the following situations:

If our processing of your personal information is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time, and we will cease collecting your personal information. However, in some cases, this may result in your inability to receive partial or full access to the Services, and your withdrawal of consent does not limit our ability to use the personal information that has been aggregated and anonymized for use by us in connection with our legitimate business efforts in the future. In addition, your withdrawal of consent does not prevent us from retaining and processing personal information if we are required to do so by applicable law or to preserve legal claims. It also does not prevent us from processing personal information that has been gathered pursuant to a different lawful basis. For example, if you give your consent for us to process your personal information, but we are also required by law to keep your personal information, that separate “lawful basis” will still apply, even if you withdraw your consent.

We keep your information for the length of time needed to carry out the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. We are committed to keeping your information secure and confidential. We have taken measures to protect your information from improper use and unauthorized access. No matter how hard we try, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. The General Data Protection Regulation made effective in Europe on May 25, 2018 (“GDPR”) relates to companies that process personal data for their own use (“controllers”) and companies that process personal data on behalf of others (“processors”). We act as a controller of information provided directly to us and as a processor related to information provided to a third-party that is shared with us.

The GDPR requires that we clearly describe to data subjects the data we collect, how we use that data, and the legal basis for doing so. This Privacy Policy does that as discussed above. For instance, we process your information for lawful reasons where: (a) you have given consent; (b) processing is necessary for the performance of a purchase and/or request; (c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation; or (d) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party and your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms to do not override those interests. We hope that if you have any questions for us regarding our data collection, you will write us at [email protected]

As a resident of Europe, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, and object to our processing of your personal data under certain conditions. You also have the right to request that we do not transfer the data that we have collected to another organization. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected] If requested to remove personal information, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the European Economic Area supervisory authority.
