Grill Ultimate Bundle

The Grill was designed to provide an optimal experience for backyard cooking and is not designed to function as a fire pit. The Grill does not allow air to come through the top of the unit. This prevents the food from being consumed by the secondary burn, thus it would not produce an efficient, smoke-free flame like the fire pits. The Grill has a more shallow depth than our fire pits, providing less protection from a bonfire-sized flame. It is designed to support ideal cooking temperatures (approx. 400-500 degrees) which are much lower than the fire pits, which can sometimes reach over 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

The grill is designed to be used with the stand. The bottom of the grill is tapered for the ash pan and therefore is less stable without the stand. It will function without the stand but we do not recommend it. Additionally, the bottom of the grill can become extremely hot when in use.

The grill can be transported and used wherever you would like. Once assembled with just 6 bolts, the stand does not fold.

If you wanted to cook a turkey on the grill, you would need to use the spatchcock method.

The grill is very easy to clean. The charcoal and cooking grates are easily removable as well as the ash pan. Bar Keepers Friend can be used for the exterior.

The grill will let you get back to cooking with charcoal of any kind. Either traditional briquettes or hardwood lump charcoal will work great.

The grill works great with wood or chunkwood! The heat up time will vary when cooking with wood from the times we provide, which are based on charcoal heat up times.

Yes you can cook with a cast iron pan on the cooking grate. Though the grill is designed to cook on the cooking grate, we don’t foresee any issues with using a dutch oven directly on the coals at your own risk. Bear safety in mind when cooking directly on the coals.

Yes, you can certainly use a chimney. Just pour the coals in once they’re ready like normal. You may find that you need less charcoal overall. It only needs about 60 briquettes (4lbs).

It's pretty surprising, actually. One small 4lb bag of charcoal keeps it at 400-500 degrees for up to 45 minutes solid. You can still cook burgers and steaks towards the end of that time. It's impressive.

The grill is not designed to function as a smoker since the temperatures reach 400-500 degrees and stay there due to the convection function. It is optimized to grill for about 45 minutes with only 4 lbs of charcoal.
